GABA for insomnia

Hello all. I wanted to post this in an insomnia group, but I couldn't find one. Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone has tried GABA supplements to help with insomnia. I currently take a low dose of trazodone to help me sleep and I would like to move to a more natural solution. I have read that GABA can help with anxiety, but most of the research is inconclusive regarding helping with insomnia. I also read that GABA can lower your blood pressure further if you are on blood pressure medication. I take losartan for blood pressure and my blood pressure is now in the normal range. I would be interested in hearing from people that have experience with GABA.

I tried Gaba at one time for depression/anxiety along with a number of other natural supplements but none of them moved the needle enough for me and resorted to medication. However for sleep issues and possible anxiety reduction I take supplements at night to help lower cortisol which reduces anxiety/insomnia they are magnesium glycinate, phosphatidyl serine, melatonin and ashwagandha.
