This site isn't the best source for that kind of information, but I will say that there are definitely some known interactions. I've taken sertraline before, and I believe grapefruit can affect your body's ability to beak down the medication, and supplements like Valarian root and St. John's Wort interact with the medication. I don't think vitamins are an issue in general, but you should really check the paperwork that comes with your prescriptions, the pharmacist, and your doctor. Usually they are more concerned with drug interactions, but supplement and vitamin interactions are also a potential issue. Be sure to research each individual thing you decide to take.

I take different medications for anxiety and depression, but the standard vitamins and supplements that I take that are generally recommended (but each person must consider their own health condition, risks, and medicine interactions): vitamin D, fish oil (for omegas), L-theanine, magnesium, and melatonin.

I note you are in the UK same as me. The best thing is to ask your pharmacist as they are the experts in drugs and their interactions.

Hi Mohammad thanks for your reply when you say B complex is that meaning all the B vitamins. I have been told my D12 is fine it wouldn't be harmful if I took that has precaution.

She needs to check with her doctor or pharmacist for interactions before starting any supplements. We are not suppose to give advice on here about them just as we are not supposed to give advice about meds on here.

Likely ok, but ask your pharmacist to be sure
