My anxiety has increased a little bit. It usually is worse around summertime but more towards august the end of summer. I dont take much alot of natural stuff. My sleep is sporadic. I take lorazepam when i need it i take lots of melatonin and usually allergy medicine. Because i can handle anxiety just got panic attacks. Anyone have anxiety worse during certain times of the year or could this be a side effect of ativan or other stuff i take? Do you think im having withdrawl anxiety since i dont take ativan on a regular schedule?

I also get chest discomfort after eating..
Mike, chest discomfort after eating sound more like GERDS or an indigestion
issue from being nervous and swallowing a lot of air with your food. xx
What do you recommend to help with that? I have pepto and menthol but idk what else.
Of course Mike, always let your doctor know what's going on since
he knows your health history. No matter what you take or don't
take for it, make sure mealtime is a calming time.
Sitting straight on a chair at the table and not slouched in bed or a couch can help.
Chewing your food slowly and not gulping down helps. This will prevent
too much air from going down with your food. Sipping on some water
or ginger ale between bites might help expel any excess gas bubbles.
But first and foremost, see what your doctor recommends before taking
over the counter meds on your own. Feel better xx
Mine tends to act up during certain times of the year also. I’m not sure why.
Its crazy, im curious to understand why its worse in summer. My derealization and panic get worse.
Mike, It's possible that your body is balking on wanting more Ativan or
it could be from not getting enough sleep or it could have to do with
whatever other stuff you are taking. Whatever it's from, your mind
still needs help from you in changing your fears. Popping a pill is only
a temporary aid, working on your acceptance of anxiety is the key. xx
Well its been almost a year and ive never needed more than .5mg of ativan and that dose always works. So im confused on that part. I made meditation a big part of my life so i do accept everything. Its just more difficult at times.
Mike we are not living in the best of times right now and so
we have to expect that our anxiety can rise. Have you talked
with your therapist recently? Someone you trust and knows
your history. Talk with your prescribing doctor for Ativan. It
makes no difference in how long a med has worked, things change
in our chemistry. xx
I havent seen my therapist but will soon due to covid she hasnt been seeing patients. My doc is fine with me taking ativan. I try not to rely on it. Its weird because its usually jaw pain and mild headaches then leads to derealization and such. I think i need to see my dentist or specialist cuz my jaw has been like this for years on and off.
