nausea
hi, I suffer from anxiety that makes me nauseous too. For awhile I was throwing up every meal. I take protonix now for reflux for nausea. I don’t puke anymore but I feel nauseous alot. I make a tea with ground ginger, cinnamon and honey. It works, ginger is the best for nausea. You can use tea bag for more flavor. Hope it helps.
Ginger tea, or ginger ale is good for nausea, also try and eat some dry toast.
Breathe. Drink fluids if you cannot stomach solids. Try to aim for nutrient rich foods when you're having a good moment. Also Zofran is pretty good for nausea; need a prescription tho
try ginger candy. They sell them at the grocery store but also at vitamin stores. They tend to help subside it. Ginger aid tea also you can have it after the meal. Smaller more frequent meals also can help. Sour candy also helps. Just depends if your anxiety is triggering it or a stomach issue. Cause there’s food prescription anti acids too. Maybe see if ur doc can check into one for you. Feel better.
Mints or mint tea help me
When I get nervous I get a nervous stomach. I get nauseous and sometimes I dry heave. Every once in a while, I throw up.
I've figured out what helps me is Spite of Ginger Ale soda. Helps keep the acid in my tummy settled when I don't eat something to avoid puking when I have to do something big and I'll know I'll be super nervous.
Mints are also great. Cause sometimes gagging is often caused by anxiety creating cotton mouth or dry mouth or a lump in the throat. Mints have helped me.
Can't go wrong with pretzels and crackers.
But also I would check out a book called Dare by Barry McDonagh. To learn how to be comfortable with these uncomfortable sensations that anxiety brings us.
Wishing you healing and peaceful tummy 🫂❤️
Pantoprazole helped me if it’s related to reflux. If you get nauseous when you are hungry it might be good to check in with your primary care doctor so they can help you sort that out. Hope you feel better soon.
