I feel like the last year has been a challenge for me mentally and physically. I had cancer (It is in remission since January), I got laid off from my employer (last month), I got a rash from a new medication that lasted over a month and then got covid! I am trying to see light at the end of tunnel. I have to say my anxiety has been at bay for most of this, but when I think about these life changing or "events" it does make me sad and anxious. I border on depression. As I begin my job search its anything less than exciting but a means to pay the bills. How do I stay positive and happy health focused (meaning working on my health and well being).

You stay positive by focusing on the strength and learning experience you had in
going through all these life changing issues. Let it prove to you that you are stronger
than you think. Something got you through these situations and it was YOU.
More power to you guynfl2chat. You've got this. Stand taller and prouder in knowing
"you've got this". It's going to be okay. xx
Hello guynfl2chat 👋🏽
That is certainly a series of unfortunate events and I'm sorry to hear that.
But know that all of it is and was temporary. Yes, you HAD a rash that lasted a month. But you got over it. You guys t COVID but you'll be over with that too. Job hunting, sure, can be stressful. Especially if you are looking for a particular job. But also consider jobs in and around that field or maybe even try something different for a change of pace and or scenery. Who knows you may end up liking to even loving a job you didn't expect too.
When I get nervous I like to sing a song to myself
"Puff out your chest
Take a deep breath
You're going to be okay
Is it loud in your mind? Just take your time
You're going to be okay" 🎶 and repeat
Remember bad days don't last forever.
Wishing you happy hunting and peace 🫂 ❤️
