So my story with anxiety and depression actually started from not realizing it was there in the first place but I had a psychic reading in 2015 and he mentioned that and afterwards I did some research and I said oh wow that's what that is. So I never been to a therapist but I do resonate with some of these symptoms and been without support for most of my life about it and now it's interfering with certain things like I'm aware of it now so that I can now do something about it and I am taking the steps to get help whether that's talking to a therapist or taking medication to just calm me I don't know what will work but I'm here to see how you guys handle things and to pick up some tips that may help me in my life I'm rooting for you all God bless.

hey welcome to the group we’re happy to offer suggestions. Just remember we’re not doctors so just read the advice, think about it, take what’s helpful and just leave the rest.
First things first talk to a therapist, they will help you decide if you think you should see a psychiatrist and maybe start medication. Tell them everything some patients fall into this trap of telling the therapist what we think they want to hear and not what’s really going on. Be sure to find someone you like if you dont like them find another on. And if needed another one…
Next thing is a wholistic approach diet and exercise and consider any possible underlying conditions, diabetes for example. Get a physical checkup if you havent had one in a while
Family support is important if you have anyone you can talk to just tell them what’s going on, try to educate them about your condition. Tell them how they might help as you start to figure things out.
Most important dont despair these things ebb and flow, it will be hard at times but it gets better too, make sure you remember that: it does get better.
