here are a couple of things....

I sometimes listen to sports talk radio....and one of the things I listen to is based on sports psychology....this gentleman has been in sports psychiatry for 41 years....one of the topics was....

focusing on effort vs focusing on results...now I am in no way an athlete...bt I usually think of ways to apply his topics to my every day life...so my question is......in your opinion.....which is more important.....to focus on the effort.......or to focus on the results......

I say that it's more important to focus on the effort...it's been my experience that if I focus on the effort....do each thing...deal with each issue to the best of my ability....it will produce the desired results...if you focus on the results....usually the effort doesn't happen or mean as much.....

I would also like to talk about an interview I heard from Furture hall of fame manager and baseball player Ned Yost. He was being interviewed about the mentality of baseball players and who is deserving...or what makes a person validate their contract.....he stated....does your contract state that you need to hit 40 home runs by your 3rd year...no....does it say that your batting average needs to be at a certain level....no....what your contract says is that you put forth maximum effort every time you are on the field and you will be successful....do to the best of your ability in every situation every game.....and realize that some days are better than others....and that there is always the next game.....I challenge you to do things to the best of your ability

Beautiful mizzou. Needed to hear this. 🙏🏻Appreciate it. Thanks for explaining your take on it. Effort is definitely number one. The more of that we can put forth and keep on with, the bigger the chance of gains, productivity, growth, whatever it applies to.

Great Post!! I agree, the process is what is important not the product. Both are fleeting, the product is dead, the process is living. :)

But if you work the process...you will get the product. What most people struggle with is how frustrated they get because they want instant results when it may take a lifetime to conquer.
