Not much accomplished these day.

No matter how hard I try to get things done these days, I haven’t had much done and it’s so frustrating. Does any one have some time-management tips? It doesn’t help when I’ve got medical conditions that affect my ability to focus every time I sit down do get a task done. The headaches that come on are quite bothersome...

What tasks are you trying to do?

Thanks for your reply, Moodchange. I have different tasks—job-searching, Job-training courses, school, and family life (I’m a single-mom). Just don’t know how to get them done with the time I have.

Prioritise the things that are the most time sensitive or important to take care of, and the rest will follow, one thing at a time. And give yourself a brake and feel a sense of accomplishment with what ever you do get done for the day....and that is good enough. Try to do the 'glass half full' so you don't beat yourself up for things that are not done...they will all get dealt with in their own time....it's all good.

Thank you for your suggestions, fauxartist. You’ve allowed me to step back and rethink about and get a whole new perspective about my daily goals.

Hi Musiclover! Do you like to journal or write? A thing that’s helped me in the last few weeks is to write down my goals for the day. It helped me see things in small bites. when I didn’t want to get out of bed some days, it reminded of the things I needed to do. Some days I was exhausted. It can be something as basic as making sure you brush your teeth or make a phone call. And when you finish a task, it feels so good to cross it off and remember all the things you had to do to take care of yourself, which some days feels like a lot.
