I keep looking online for my cruise to try to see what the seas will be like and I read somewhere to expect 2-3 foot waves. I’m terrified. I keep feeling like I cannot do this. I hate that I’m like this. I should be excited for this trip

I've been looking online and that's pretty calm for a cruise ship. According to some articles, you won't feel the waves on a cruise ship until they are 10 to 12 foot waves. The one cruise I went on was like 15 foot waves and I could definitely feel it, but it wasn't throwing us around or anything. Stay towards the front of the ship if it bothers you, sip on ginger ale. I know you can do this. We are all here for you.

I know you do. I can feel your anxiety like it's my own. All I can say is that you are going to be okay. No matter if you go or not, it will be okay. Keep telling yourself you can do this. Like Vonus5591 said, focus on your loved ones. They will be there to help you through. I will keep checking on you, if you need to chat.

Please do I need all the support. I just feel like I can’t talk to anyone about it. I’m embarrassed and my boyfriend seems annoyed. I just want to sleep

Don't be embarrassed. You can always excuse yourself for a bit and go to the cabin and take a break. I'm sorry your boyfriend seems annoyed, but he will get over it. We all understand how you feel and it's valid. I'm sending you positive thoughts and hugs 🫂

Nobody really knows what the seas are going to be like, so don’t get too caught up in this prediction. If you are feeling queasy or seasick, the center of the ship is actually the most stable place. Also, consider taking draminine or getting a scopolamine patch. They say that keeping your eyes closed or staring out at the horizon will help stabilize your system and reduce the difference between what your eyes see and your vestibular system feels.

Well, you will be fine. Don't disappoint your boyfriend. If you don't go, will he be on his own on the trip?

No he’d be with his mom and his sister and her boyfriend

You will be fine. I am similar when it comes to flying. You can do this. Think how wonderful it will be and the places you can visit.

You will not even notice the waves as the ship is so big and heavy that it won't even rock!!!!! <3
