I am terrified. Ocassionally I will find a centipede in my apartment. I haven’t seen one in months and today I saw one in my kitchen sink. I freaked out and went around and sprayed all my baseboards, edges of cabinets, sinks and tubs, with Raid. I’m hoping that means I won’t see more but I’m so scared. They are big and have many legs and it freaks me out. I did email management to see if they can get my unit treated. It’s not an infestation it was just one but I don’t want to see more

Those are creepy. But I've heard that the bigger they are, they are not harmful. Still I would have run out and started screaming! Sorry you have to deal with them, hopefully your complex will treat for them.
I need to ask; are they actual red or black centipedes or those grey centipedes with feathery long legs that run very, very fast? Because if it's the latter, the common house centipede, you may not want to kill them. As ugly and unsightly as they are (they creep me the hell out), they're actually really beneficial to have around. Just like spiders they eat all the bugs you DON'T want in your house, like cockroaches, silverfish, firebrats, bedbugs, and even wasps. Food for thought.

I would be freaked out over this too.
I'm getting those stink bugs... not sure of their science name. These may be " knock offs" haha . They do not stink when killed.

We are getting stink bugs too. Is I weird that I like them? 😆
Haha
Ummmm.... ya it's weird lol!!
They are so archaic looking and smack the walls when they fly and they are very hard to kill.
Tell me Star, what part of them do you like?
❤️🐬
All creatures interest me. Love Biology. So I put one on a house plant and it ended up living there I would walk by it say hello.. Until Then, I swear it was following me. Don’t make fun I know it’s crazy but this bug really gets around.
