I like to come here and express my feelings because I feel like No one else will understand me like you guys! Because we experience similar to exact symptoms. My husband wanted to take me out for Lunch so Again I’m having anxiety! I feel like i developed agoraphobia. I don’t ever want to leave my house I hate being out in the streets. I don’t like being around other people! It makes me so anxious. I forgot to take my medicine this morning before leaving to prevent an anxiety/ Panic attack. & Now I’m in flight or Fight mode for almost an Hour! My heart is Pounding out my chest! I can feel it in my ears. This is so frustrating. I tried breathing slowly, thinking of other stuff & nothing is working. I almost feel like I’m disabling to myself and others ☹️

There are several ways to deal with phobias. One technique is to see a therapist and also possibly take medication when needed. It also would make sense to do some cognitive behavioral therapy to think about why you are feeling panicky and then to make you were thinking more realistic, and less anxiety – producing. In my experience, most people who have panic attacks say that they are mostly concerned about having a panic attack in public and being embarrassed. This is something you can address. Also, most treatments for phobias involve a gradual increase in the activity that makes you anxious so that your body and mind have time to adjust and work in small increments.
