Hi Subarufreak988,
Thank you for your post. You have made so much progress on improving your life situation so well done to you.
As you have reported your anxiety seems to be a problem. Living in the USA, I recommend you call 988 for mental health support. You might not know its been available since July 2022.
When a person accesses 988 via call, text, or chat, they are connected to a trained counselor who can provide help to reduce emotional distress of all types.
The first service offered by 988 is “someone to talk to.”
Unlike 911, 988 itself is a service, connecting individuals to counselors who can provide immediate help.
Wishing you all the best 🐈⬛
Hi Subarufreak...all I can say is "wow"...you've had all the super stressors one
right after another. It would be amazing if you didn't feel like this. And yes that
rush of adrenaline is the worst. However, with practice, it can be controlled
through regulated breathing. Feeling dizzyheaded can have a lot to do with
hyperventilation or holding your breath when stressed. The brain and heart
need that oxygen to survive. Taking time to deep breathe (known as belly
breathing) and then exhaling long and slow can make a significant difference
in how you feel. With daily practice it can work faster than a pill and keep
you had a more even keel.
Preferably done first thing upon awakening, midafternoon and before bed at
night. Add to that quiet Mindfulness and Meditation and you will see the
benefits.
I'm happy to have you with us where you will learn from other's experiences.
We are not doctors or therapists but you can learn from us and how we all
have attained where we are at emotionally and physically.
You still need to see your doctors regularly but know that you have the support
and understanding you need 24/7. We all care. You are in good hands now new
friend. xx
Is that what they call the panic attack rush? It’s fear sensation that takes over my body and I start sweating badly. I also can’t sleep from it and I’m exhausted. It’s hard to breathe or relax. And it makes me dizzy and achy. I’m single and currently have no friends or close family members. I always wondered what a partner might think or how supportive could be.
