Im very new to this but hopefully its worth a shot. I got diagnosed with Anxiety a few years back and it had been controlled til recently, at the beginning of this month i got 1 bad anxiety attack and now my mind is paranoid that it will happen again. I am really struggling with getting sleep in and getting to my daily activities, i’ve been on and off work because of this. I began a new treatment but it doesn’t help when im very anxious. Im really frustrated because i cant stop overthinking and causing my own anxiety. Please suggest any coping mechanisms for this.

Hi Viv02,I am currently off work to look after myself and recover mentally.
At the moment, I am 3/4 way reading a book, called "Everything Starts With Asking For Help" by author, Kevin Braddock.
I have found a lot of good material there.
There are some real big truth bombs.
Urge 🏄♂️ surfing is one of them, especially when dealing with anxiety.
The answer to the big question of "how do I deal with this?" - call your doctor and or a counsellor to discuss this and help you get unstuck.
Of course, you can always post here for some lived experience support and advice 24/7.
