I'm just wondering if other people have dealt with hyper vigilance and being afraid to be around every stranger you see, for fear of judgement or scared that you'll get a dirty, weird or uncomfortable look from some stranger. My hyper vigilance feels like i'm a second away from the other person noticing me because im paying attention to their every move. I dont know how close it is or not, or whether its not close at all, but i know i have no control over my hyper vigilance and wanna know if its possible to beat this thing?

How do I beat this thing?

I really do feel for you . From your continued searching for answers on here it would seem you’re pretty anxious to find answers . Very understandable indeed .
I think most of us would agree that at some point, you need to get a proper diagnosis from a professional, even though you might feel that that’s difficult to get depending on your financial situation or other such mitigating factors, but I do feel that there are possible ways to get around that , so that you can get that diagnosis.
Maybe others can expound
Once that is acquired, and from that diagnosis, you should get proper professional problem-solving solutions. That said, I for one and many others on here will tell you that could be a moving target . That can take work, maybe a lot of work to figure out how to best approach what ails you.
To me once one gets that diagnosis and feel that it’s fairly accurate and sometimes it may mean talking to more than one provider to really bail it down. Hopefully, then the combination of the professionals and us can help you find answers to what you’re looking for
If youre trying to find solutions here ,obviously that is no problem , but without that diagnosis/solutions, it might make your results a little more difficult to attain
You have mentioned your appointment is aways away. Is there anything we can do to help you get that appointment moved up sooner?
That’s if you do agree that what I’m saying makes sense
there's nothing i can do but wait until may 10th for my psych eval
thats what you think.....do you think i just look at the responses and discard them? hell no....stop assuming, like you know the truthful answer..i'm getting tired of it.
I would like to think that anything can be beaten with the right mindset.
i tried deep breathing...but i cant put my mind at ease in order to breath slower
I think that could be an excellent idea to help in your quest for relief

I’ve found the people here to be exceedingly compassionate and empathetic. When we see someone posting a lot of the same struggles we can’t help ourselves but care for you.
What might be helpful for all of us to hopefully help you, is to post a list of possible ideas you’ve gathered from reaching out here and let us know how each one you’ve tried has gone
Think that might help?
Sometimes a lot of information can overwhelm the best of us, so maybe let us in on what you’ve tried and maybe we can hone it down some to a more manageable list of things to work on until your evaluation in May
That is a great idea CLJ.
As for me due to the response to me I have deleted my other replies and will stay well clear of this poster in future. Who needs s.... in their lives.
