I hate anxiety...I hate the suffocating feeling...I hate this struggle like I can't breathe...I cry and I cry just praying for it to stop...I hate my mind makes me question myself and everything I am or do...I know I'm not these horrible things yet the anxiety consumes my brain and yells it constantly..I just wanna be free of this feeling. Do you have intrusive, scary thoughts? I have ocd in which I compulsively overthink and imagine all these scary things. I’m in the process of finding a therapist who specializes in ocd.
I do. In my case, I believe it is CPTS.
It sure is. Those thoughts are what someone else planted in our head.

Here is part of my reply to a another poster: ....The other helpful thing is to educate yourself about what anxiety is and how best to constructively deal with it, which is accepting and embracing it rather than fighting or struggling with it. The more you fight or struggle with it the more it persists. You can find good info on youtube from Dr. Claire Weekes, The DARE Anxiety book and youtubes and the book "At last a life and beyond" by Paul David and there is info on youtube about him. Knowing what is really going on and how to deal with it helps lessen the anxiety/fear around it. Another good youtube to check out is Emma at "Therapy in a nutshell" and also Paige Pradko's youtube.
