I’m not alone?

after I graduated college it all came back. The panic disorder. I was doing so good and now I had to up my meds and I’m barely functioning. I keep having these thoughts of what am I doing here? What is the point of this? I have no reason to live. Especially not feeling like this. I get so tired of being afraid of what my mind and body may do.

Hi Glitterismyfavcolor and Welcome..

I believe many graduates go through this fear after getting out of school and into

the real world. It can be a harsh reality as you begin to believe you are thrown to the

wolves and will not survive. Not so at all Glitter. That first step will be the hardest

to take but believe me once you do, you will soar. You will find purpose and reason

for living.

Panic Disorder doesn't have to be a forever thing. When we don't feel in control of

our life, that is when panic moves in. Over medicating can make you feel even more

out of control. Tired and not motivated. The meds are used to calm you but too

much makes it difficult to move and to think.

Finding a therapist who can help you find other methods in giving you motivation

and self esteem can help. If you have one thing you can control, it's your mind and

body. With help and practice you can achieve anything you want in life. A change of

attitude can take you far. As you go forward, anxiety will back off especially if you

don't fight it. You are a well educated young woman who has the road paved before

her. We're here to support you. You CAN do this. I believe in you. :) xx
