overwhelmed

feeling super overwhelmed right now.. I had a class with difficult kids for the past few months and it was very hard and stressful for me and caused anxiety. I have a new classroom of students and I really enjoy the kids( they have their issues but nothing major) but the staff is TERRIBLE) . One is constantly taking a smoke break and you have to remind her to do everything ten times. There’s also one kid she actively avoids working with. There’s a new staff who just disappears for like 10, 20 minutes at a time and takes 40 minute lunch breaks. I was by myself when a student ran out and had to yell at another teacher from down the hall to watch my kids while I ran after them. Also my dad has been in and out of the hospital so I’ve been dealing with that . I was out on Friday to take care of him and was genuinely worried for my students, especially my student with type one diabetes. The nurse thinks he snuck food one day and I swear it was a donut one of the one to ones left out even though I repeatedly told her to put it away(he steals food). I feel like I’m the only responsible adult in the room. People are getting frustrated with me (the nurse, the person in charge of transportation) because I’ve been misplacing things because every time I go to work with one student another student acts up and I’ll misplace a backpack or something and get yelled at and they never get blamed. Not only that but the principal wants the unreliable guy to be a permanent staff in my room. I just don’t know how much more I can put up with.
