scared to be sick

I literally have the worst luck. I brought a mask to the comedy show with the intention of wearing it. I had my boyfriend put it in his pocket because of the bag policy. We get inside and the mask is not in his pocket. It fell out somewhere. So I didn’t wear a mask at the comedy show. I’m scared now that I’ll get covid. I know it’s out of my control now but I’m still scared

You'll be okay! Don't think about it and if you feel ill, get a test. The more you worry over it, the more you'll convince yourself the worst, so I'd suggest if that thought enters your mind, take a deep breath and think to yourself 'im okay' and repeat as needed.

thank you! I got the initial vaccines and some of the boosters. I can’t remember the last time I had a booster though. Sometime earlier this year.

I never heard of a comedy club banning purses?

Dress codes and hats I've heard, but that was more for keeping troublemakers (pretty much gang members) out.

they only allowed really small ones and we couldn’t bring our phones inside (or we had to lock them in. A magnetic pouch) because they didn’t want us recording. I figured I wouldn’t bring anything with me and just stick the mask in my boyfriends pocket

In a way, I kinda get it.

Here.. Back in the day, (club owners) they would discourage hecklers before the show started, but most comedians just picked on people that were on their phones. (so most never tried recording)

Which pretty much kept everyone in check.

Obviously there were probably past incidents to change that where you were at.

Either way, I hope that you at least enjoyed the show. (or at least tried to)
