I don’t know what it is. I’m soo scared right now. My heart is skipping. I have cardiologist appointment tomorrow. Every time I get checked out, I’m ok. They say benign. I want to go home from work because I’m scared of my heart but shouldn’t as I need the money.
Perhaps I feel so bad too due to pms. I just need support right now to make it through the work day. Please send encouraging words.

Try to accept the feeling and not run away from it. Count from 1 to 10 slooooowly. Take deep breaths and know that it will soon pass. Could you take a short walk outside? Hugs!!
That's good news, Dolphin80, every time you have your heart checked it's fine. And you will no doubt receive further reassurance tomorrow when you see the cardiologist.
Normally you would expect to be relieved and comforted. But you're not, you're scared and can't think of anything but your heart. We understand. Many of us have been there ourselves. And The news is good.
Skipped heartbeats are a very common side effect of high anxiety. I've had them from time to time, always as a reaction to stress. Actually your heart doesn't actually miss a beat, it's just that the gap between beats alters slightly. I know it's uncomfortable but if heart doctors have given you a clean bill of health it can't harm you in any way. They know what to listen for and will have ruled out the very uncommon cases where there is a cause other than anxiety.
The human heart muscle is the largest muscle in your body, it takes more than skipped beats to cause your heart any trouble.
When I get them it doesn't bother me: I feel no fear because I know they are harmless. So I tend to forget about them and just carry on. And so because I don't stress and obsess about them they die of neglect.
The advice that F***life has given you in their first reply here is spot on. Read it again. ACCEPT them for the moment and don't run away from them: face them but don't fight them. Fighting causes more stress and strain and that's the last thing you need right now. Accept them utterly and let them pass in their own good time. As they will surely do.
The breathing manouvre that F***life mentions generates natural tranquilisers to calm you: breathe in slowly through your mouth, hold your breathe for 5 seconds, then breathe out slowly through pursed lips. Repeat and repeat.
Dolphin80, you are not in any danger. After seeing your cardiologist you will be further reassured. All is well. There is no need to leave work, you need occupation to stop you obsessing about the skipped beats. Just ACCEPT them for the time being and carry on as normal. There is nothing to fear, although skipped beats can be a nuisance they will do you no harm.
YOU MADE IT THROUGH THE DAY ❤️❤️❤️❤️ now that you’ve gotten through this tough day, you can get through any thing else this mental illness throws at you !
I hate this feeling, it feels like I'm going to pass out or lose complete control. I wish I knew how to help you, but I can't even help myself. Just know you are brave enough to be at work.
I know the feeling. I try DP say it is just a panic attack. But I know the one time I don't go it won't be. I am running ot off PTO. Sho tired old this fight. PTSD that is. But this is better than before. Hang in there. If your like me, you have come to far too them back.
I hope you are well Dolphin80. I suffer from anxeity and panic attacks aswell.
No matter how hard you try and convince yourself it's just anxeity your anxiety gets worse and panic follows. Just remember you aren't the only one and you can make it through. I've been to hospital numerous times even called 911 few times just to hear again there is nothing wrong with 💓. Which is always relief. Good luck
