Growth is noticing red flags and saying to yourself: "this is not for me.' If someone seriously wants to be a part of your life, they will seriously make an effort to be in it. No Reasons. No Excuses.

Me: The problem is that I'm attracted to the red flags. May be I can bleach them and dye them pink though.

Therapist: 🤦‍♀️Ignoring red flags earlier will cause a train wreck later.
