So, I'm coming up to 11 years sobriety, and a warning to you cat lovers, I bumped into a neighbour and i wasn't aware of my terrible deed!
I haven't seen this person for many years, in fact I've not spoken since I've been sober.
At the time I was living with my ex girlfriend who had a female cat, and this male Tom cat kept having his wicked way with her cat, well she ended up getting pregnant, I was fed up from this cat jumping in her house window, and having his wicked way, so don't forget i was a drunk, I marched this cat down to the local vets in a basket telling them he was a stray,well anyway I've been informed not only was he not a stray, the vets assistant said it was her neighbours cat!!!
Well , my face was getting redder by the minute, but luckily enough for me, the cats owner was more than happy for Tom to get his wedding tackle adjusted 🤣 the owner also ended up with a new kitten 😸, thank goodness 11 years have passed, I'm now keeping an eye out for a ginger cat( grown up kitten), but don't worry I won't take him or her to the vets🤣 my secret is now out in the open, more confessions soon🤪🤣

As long as we're confessing stuff...., do you mind if I steal your idea and confess my deed? Like yours, it wasn't good what I did, but I need to get it out in a way that I can start moving on with my life.
Yes, go ahead,😊 I was mainly a happy go lucky type " drunk " the funny thing about this story is I never even knew I did this, it's only when my neighbour told me, I was absolutely mortified when I knew I took someone's else's cat to the vet, it's strange how I can remember certain parts of my " other " life, but this really shocked me, crazy how I could even forget such a calamitous event 🤣
Oh, no doubt you were mortified. I was mortified after I did what I did too. Do you know what our being mortified at our deeds means? It means we have consciences. Would you mind locking this post before I dig in? I don't want this available to the entire internet to read. Either that, or I can make my own post. Up to you🙂
I don't know how to lock a post in, but your more than welcome to post your own comments, obviously if its on similar lines I don't want to ruin your story, yes, if people are trying to " steal " my TRUE story for the Internet well that's pretty sad, at least I've had the embarrassing situation of being stood in front of my neighbour and listening to the gory details 🤣, obviously I didn't know how this was even starting let alone ending, I can walk around knowing that my neighbour is telling the truth,and thankfully nobody or anything came to harm, except a tom 🐈cat who is walking around minus his wedding tackle 🤣
