Hello TraEsp. This is my first ever post. I'm also having a ton of anxiety and it's keeping me stuck at home for the most part with my agoraphobia. I would love to have virtual support groups as well. I'm sorry I don't have the resource to give you, but I noticed you posted almost an hour ago and nobody replied back yet. I figured I'd let you know you're not alone and hopefully other people will join in and be able to give you a more proper response.

Hi There!

Welcome to the site, we are a supportive group, but, we do get the odd troll, but as soon as we find 'em they get chucked out.

How can we help you?

Cheers, Midori

Thank you for your warm welcoming! I have been taking the same antidepressant and antianxiety medication for years. Given my severe crisis in both areas, my prescriber wants to implement drastic changes (replace several meds.). I am concerned about changes, however, understand that this over-a-year crisis requires drastic changes. Any advice regarding how to cope with the apprehension?

Apprehension? Hmm, never been asked about that, but for me, I would treat it as a Feel the fear and do it anyway!

I don't believe any more that stewing over stuff helps. I tend to take a robust course with these sorts of things, and I won't take prisoners with worrying.

Cheers, Midori

Hello and welcome to the group, I think you will find this a supportive, helpful place for you.

Hello John. I do not have feelings of detachment as much as the plague of panic attacks and anxiety. My symptoms vary but I am trying to learn to live with the sensations instead of running from them like I used to.

What are you apprehensive about trying the new meds? Are you worried about side effects? It doesn't seem like the ones you're on now are helping that much. I agree w midori and the jump in and see approach. What do you have to loose at this point? I'm sorry that you're struggling so much right now...
