Emotionless and lonely

Hi, I hope people are doing okay, it's been a while since I posted on here, the last few days I've had confusing feelings such as feeling emotionless, I know it's probably the medication, I feel like I'm one step away from losing it with my mind, and also feeling very lonely which maybe adding to those thoughts, so anyone that needs someone to talk to message me 😊 in need of new friends

Hi ryanactive23 :)

If you were to scroll through the posts, you would find that most of them

relay to "loneliness" more than anxiety or depression. As for feeling emotionless,

that does sound like your medication is working. By keeping you in that state of

"no feelings" it can bring down your anxiety.

I remember when I was on benzos, I was calm but had no feelings. Walking around

like a zombie...We sometimes have to trade one feeling for another.

You're certainly not alone in feeling like this. Reach out to others anytime you are

up to it. Someone's always on 24/7 which is the nice thing about this community. :) xx

ryanactive, I understand how it can be a very confusing feeling because

we all know what we have felt like before. But this isn't a matter of getting

use to or having it forever. During this time of being on medication is a time

for therapy and/or working on yourself. Finding other tools.methods that

can help you. Work on the issues/situations that are attributing to your

anxiety and depression. Eventually by not giving up, you may be able to

feel like yourself once more. Be able to function like you use to and most of

all, be able to feel emotions once more. My best :) xx
