A Red-tailed Hawk perched on the hedge edging my driveway. I sat in my car mere inches from the majestic bird. He turned and stared down his beak at me.

Thanks for asking this wonderful question. Made me think. Have I ever really seen anything I registered as really, notably, beautiful? Not really. Not much. Makes me realize how shut down I have been throughout my life, after a certain age, that I have no memories of anything that struck me as being really, especially, beautiful. But then I read "lsinatra"'s response -- nature and all its creation. As a child (many years ago) I had an epiphany: paradise is what we're living in.
