Grateful I really got to know my Grandpa Ted who is my mother's father pretty well before he sadly past away about 8 years ago. He was a humble person and when he was younger he had trouble with stuttering and he can be very anxious, but he's very caring and he liked to give generous donations to Habitat for Humanity even though he didn't really have a ton of money himself. He was very smart in a lot of ways too even though he went to a trade school and not college. And he talked me out of getting some stupid tattoo when I was 21!!!! No judgement against anyone with tattoos, it's just a rather amusing story how all that went down. So yeah, I really miss him.💖
And I think Taylor Swift's big rise to fame in some ways is just phenomenal. And yes, I really love Beyonce too!!!! As Adam Ant would say, There's Always Room At the Top.
Adam Ant I use to love
Okay, well I'll bring him out just for you. This song always cheers me up!!! And in an interesting side note, in recent years he has said he's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Hope he's not too depressed, who knows, maybe he's on this site somewhere!!!🙂. youtu.be/g4tSoH5R_Vs
Thanks a million. Fascinating he's bipolar gosh! Would be great if he as on the site. I usually get more interested in a celebrity and their lives if I hear they have it, like Stephen Fry for example
I always appreciate when celebrities let down their guard somewhat and let us know they have far from perfect lives themselves. Mariah Carey revealed she has the bipolar diagnosis just last year, she's had it for quite some time, she went through a lot divorcing her music producer husband and she wouldn't reveal it worried it would wreck her career!!!! By the way, I really don't know, who exactly is Stephen Fry???
He's well known in England, I suppose Ireland too. Was thinking you might not have known about him. He's an actor, sort of comedian. Used to present a Panel Show QI. I would call him a quintessential English gentleman, speaks beautifully. An expert on the English language. He is around 59 years old, but was only diagned with Bipolar maybe 8 years ago. He did a couple of documentaries on bipolar for the BBC.
He also wrote a few books on Greek mythology. Haven't read them yet though. I knew about Mariah Carey alright. Catherine Zeta Jones (actress) also.
My ex thinks Catherine Zeta Jones is beautiful. Years ago there was that zany movie with all the 80s rock songs in it, Tom Cruise was in it, was it called Rock of Ages or something like that??? And she was in it as this right wing politicians wife who's determined to censor all the devilish music and I thought she was just hysterical. And then there's Russell Brandt and Alec Baldwin getting into some kind of gay relationship, got some good laughs out of that. I think that movie was somehow nominated as one of the worst movies ever, but really, they weren't going after any Academy Awards with that one, I enjoyed it.
Think I never watched it properly, must try again, didn't even realise Russell Brand was in it
I mean it is rather dumb, but I happened to like it. Had all the popular rock songs from the 80s in it, like Journey and Bon Jovi.
I was going to post that I had heard it had good 80's music, definitely will give it a bash. I like listening to Russell Brand sometimes, but did fi d the other couple of movies he did not great.
He is definitely a character, I would say. He has a channel on YouTube now where he talks about spiritual stuff and other things, that I've watched a few times. I feel bad for whatever happened between him and Katy Perry, she seemed very hurt by him. But they've both moved on. I like some of the songs on Katy's latest album.
I'd hazard a guess it was more his fault, but then I suppose two sides to every story. I particularly liked oe sog of Katy's back along, something with lion and roar, I'm vague on it now. Actually read two books Russell wrote about his life. Found the first one better than the second. Absolutely right, he's a character

In late 2019 I moved into a place where you had to declaw a cat if you had one (so brutal, not doing it) so I found her already declawed at a local vet waiting for a good home, already named. I taught her to meow for treats, it's adorable!
Aaaawww, she's beautiful! I had so many cats growing up! I remember watching one of my cats give birth in my closet!
