Got myself through my panic attacks recognizing them while they’re starting now kind of it’s hard but I definitely feel that slight difference that I’m not in a panic attack all the time
Walked up and down my hill of a yard
Sat outside
Went for a small drive
Got the results of my spine mri but still have to see my neurosurgeon agrees that they are okay.
also had a GI appointment today and she was like yeah we’re gonna recommend a endoscopy not sure how I feel about that.
It’s so weird having to relearn everything and teaching myself that im safe again. It still baffles me how I could drive anywhere no matter how long or short and feel great and safe but now my brain freaks out. But hey gotta keep up with exposer
Yes I know I said I was taking a break but I really like interacting with everyone

Hey Adam....great news!! Yes endoscopy scared me but after I had it done I was relieved and I didn't die!! They are usually real nice and I even told them I'm high anxiety with health anxiety and they were a little more explanatory about what was going on. Sounds like gerd but it could be something else easy to fix. You are now getting the answers you need and you body and mind are working together instead of resisting each other in fear. I'm so glad you are starting to get the feel it's better when your feeling it start then before when it was "BAM I'm here". Lol I'm glad you like the chit chat cause you certainly help with your replies!! Gentle hugs 🫂
Thank you! Yea I’m really scared about the endoscopy it’s not even scheduled yet. I realize I say I’m scared but idk what I’m scared about. I think it just freaks me out I’ve only ever been knocked out once and that was for my wisdom teeth.
Very good for you! It is really good you are covering all the medical bases. I had an endoscopy without sedation and it was completely painless, although now I think most are sedated. I agree with Fearoffear that it could be GERD or even an ulcer, both of which are pretty easily treatable.
Glad you are making progress! I had three endoscopies. They put you out and poof... you wake up 3 seconds later with no pain. I will say that i think they over prescribe those things so do watch out with that. They never found anything because they were looking in the wrong direction.
Yeahhhh it seems like they just throw them at people saying to get one. Like the appointment literally was like oh you have heartburn let’s get you one even after me saying that my symptoms are mostly only in the morning or if I don’t eat. The appointment was only like 7 minutes
Ugh. I hate that. The last time I got pretty suspicious and my insurance deductible was really high so I just cancelled. The same doctor also "encouraged" me to get the branded medicine... gave me samples and then i had to pay the inflated price. I was really lucky to find a doctor who could properly diagnose it.
Out of the doctors I’ve seen it really only seems like my neurosurgeon seems like she knows what she’s talking about which I guess means to find new ones.
Great to see a lot of positives for yesterday! Good for you! As others said for the endoscopy you're sedated and next thing you know you're awake and pretty alert. It's a good diagnostic tool to find out what's going on in the upper GI tract and most things are easily treatable. A suggestion for the reflux at night(if it hasn't already been suggested) is elevating the head of your bed.
