i know from 40 years of teadhing and coaching....sensitive people ....in thee right niche....just lke our horses.....take a bit more time and care....
but
oh.....sooooooo worth it
seems hopeless to them....so we ....have to be there....to reassure them no matter how many times......so what....so ur scared so ur nervous....soo what......ur potential is sooooo there.......we just have to get u to the right place where u can soar..........
u r not........a burden to teachers or coaches.....u bring ur potential
whidh grows and develops ....same as confidence
sensitiity is NOT a sin or a crime.....
ive only done it with hundreds of students.....and horses.....nervous ans hello......soooooooooooo what......i dont........care.....
show us what u got..........we want u to have ur opportunity....not jsut the privaldeged .....

hear u - debated that one long time....i actually get both sides unfortuantely....in my business.....of horsemanship...so many of the instructors and leaders....only endorse or are hard on people who arent bold....they have bold on the brain...and tough on people and kids who benefit from TLC....a queter approach and quieter less hostile less aggressive or abusive approach...i butt heads with these coaches to get off peoples cases all the time.......talking not theory but lots or experience....i take he senstive ones at diff pace and appoach as most teachers would.....obvous and common sense....but horse instructors dont get common sense.....they just pounde on people....
and bad mouth and talk abot them endlsesly how marth or joe....is a weanie and annd....
had this back at the college..peoople ragging on a poor student because she was afraid to punish the horse...
obvoulsy i took her aside away from my idiot instructors...put her with a horse no one wanted and she just spent endless amounts of time grooming him talkng to him protedting him loving on him....
ergo...there is ur horsewoman by heart (not skill yet) and would never hurt one of my horses....ergo...the bottom of trhe class to others
got personal lessons with riding master- me.....top fo the class as i dondnt have to teadh her soft aids, communcaion feel and how to be gentle or compassonate
i see things radically dif than most - tried and tried to say that here...
all thing relative.....shed die before hurting an horse any animal
bottom of the class misread by ignifants......she was briliant ...top
of the class.....she got the pearls of my 50 years of riding.....
the others ....wheaties and chex mix.....til they learn humility and start listening to the horse not run over the top of them...
as i keep trying to tell peple...anxiety is not a problem
it belies senstiiity ...put them in rght situtaion right mentors rih5 envorionment like orchids are not cacti....
duh....mh people are NOT ...teachers....
