At work right now there is no AC in the building and it gets super hot, I live in Arizona so it gets to 100 degrees even hotter, it's been 4 weeks without AC and it gets hotter and hotter and every time it gets hotter I get sick and just want to go home because I feel miserable and makes me not want to go to work anymore, it's making me depressed and I keep overthinking everything and I don't know what to do, i know people are going to say drink a lot of water that doesn't work all the time, its so hot and i feel like people don't understand. I need advice, What should I do?

Does your job allow you to sit down in a chair with a back (like a call center, receptionist, etc.) or are you required to stand? If your job allows you to sit, get one of these - amazon.com/cooling-dog-mats... and put it between your back and your office chair. It will allow you to keep much cooler without requiring any type of refrigeration.
Why do they have to do anything... the company should either fix it or augment it.
The employees have been telling me that the AC is something broken and that they need a piece or something but then I have another employee telling me that they don't want to get it fixed when they are doing construction on the building but it has been 4 weeks without air and they don't care at all and on Sunday the leader was telling me that the air conditioner men were fixing it but I have heard that so many times for 4 weeks that they magically called them out of nowhere they should have called them in the first place. Plus the poor customers that come in to shop are sweating really bad and they don't deserve that either does anybody.
Sounds like abusive work conditions, they should at least provide you with Gatorade and a place to cool down on your break. I’ve been seeing a lot of news reports of workers getting sick. I would try to report it somewhere higher up. I hope you get relief soon.
So why haven't they fixed it? Why haven't they rented or bought a portable cooling unit?
I have no idea, one minute I hear that there is a broken piece in the AC and that they need to order it then I hear that they barely even got someone out to look at it and then I hear from employees that they don't care and doesn't want to fix it or they can't fix it I wish I knew but I'm not happy with it.
I bet by law the temperatures you are working in are illegal. Talk to the boss, tell him the high temperatures are affecting the productivity of every employee and keeping customers away, they can't get out of the place quick enough. A cheap short term aid may be large desk fans, the breeze they produce will cool you down when directed at you even though they don't produce cold air.
I live in Arizona also and I'm sure there is a law that you can't work without AC in the summer when it gets really hot. I know that when I rented my condo and the A/C went on the blink, I googled tenant laws and it said that my landlord would have to provide AC. The landlord would have to pay for a hotel until it was fixed. He got it fixed real fast. Why not Google " Working conditions that must be upheld by law in AZ. Good luck!!
Yes, good advice.
I live in Arizona, as well. There most definitely has to be a law against those working conditions.
I know!!! Hopefully, she will find out if she can do something legally.
WOW..... I'm shocked that Arizona of all places can get away with that. What type of place do you work for? Do you have employee health or Human Resources available to file a complaint? No one should work like that. Call the attorney general office or the local news paper. Get some bigger eyes on the situation.
I would document daily in an email asking when you should expect this to be fixed. Get a paper trail going.

I live in Central California where it gets into the 100s. I just had an episode where I passed out from the heat. I had not eaten enough that day. Anyway, can you talk to your boss? What about fans? This sounds serious to me.
