Treatment is different for everyone. When I found my therapist she suggested I see a psychiatrist to prescribe medication. Then I continued to talk with a therapist. You can do one or the other or both.

Hi rossmack.. since it's not "one size fits all", whatever works for youis the right approach. My best to you :) xx

It depends on who you are. For some, medication alone is enough. For some, CBT alone is enough. Some people need both at the same time. You may have to experiment a bit to see what works for you. Maybe start with CBT, and if it doesn't seem to be helping much or you feel you still want more help, then maybe consider taking medication.
