I just started having major panic attacks and night terrors....my therapist currently has me doing Guided Imagery which after practicing for 1 week now twice a day or when I feel I need it does seem to help. You can find many of them on youtube.com just go there and search for Guided Imagery. Good luck and God Bless.

They say it’s an abnormal fight or flight response. Guided deep breathing exercises free on you tube daily helps. And after your shower rinse for a song in cool water. And lower the temperature a bit colder each week. You can find plenty of information online or you tube about it helping for this. And it comes with 10-11 other health benefits besides. And 30-40 minutes of daily cardio exercise to help burn off steam.
