i have anxiety for 2 years. lately, it has been "stronger". there are new symptoms like dizziness, headaches, numb left foot, pins & needles, muscles are more tense now too. body pains too. i would really love to get advises on what to do to heal. thanks!

Hi, have you been to a medical provider for a check up lately? That might help rule out other things so you might not feel so anxious about all the physical symptoms? Anxiety can definitely lead to physical symptoms but it would be a good idea to get any potential medical conditions ruled out & at the same time if you feel comfortable with the Dr or provider you could bring up your anxiety. They might be able to refer you to a counselor if that is a possibility, or offer you medication. The dizziness & headaches could be a blood pressure issue for instance. Just my opinion that it would be a good idea to start by getting a full medical check up. Take care & I hope you are able to feel better.

I recovered after decades of anxiety using an approach based on the teachings of Dr. Claire Weekes. It involves facing rather than avoiding symptoms, and acceptance instead of fighting. Having tried so many other things, this was the only one that led me to recovery.
Hi! When are you experiencing these symptoms? Have you had any life changes recently that may have lead to more severe anxiety? I agree with both @akbj & @CarlJames. I would seek out help from medical professionals. I hope you can get some answers and feel better soon.
You might get your hormones, thyroid and adrenals checked out to make sure they are properly functioning, if not, they can cause or contribute to anxiety/depression. Another good resource about anxiety is the DARE Anxiety book and program, they also have good youtube videos available.
Hi and welcome to HU. Many of us understand what you are going through with anxiety. I agree with the responses here. Has there been changes in your life that could have triggered your anxiety? For me added stress good or bad, and what I put on myself, can trigger my anxiety. I have had to slow down on my activities and expectations of myself to give myself breaks and relax. Finding time to doing conscious breathing and relaxing really helps me. Also, you might want to see a doctor just to make sure everything is good. A yearly check up is important. Are you on medication for your anxiety? That may need to be looked at as well after 2 years. I find my time of the month affects my chemical imbalance, so that is when I really need to be aware. Just know you are not alone and if you need someone to talk with feel free to pm me. Also, do you have a counselor? Therapy has really helped me become aware of behaviors that trigger my anxiety. I also find talking to God, listening to praise music, and reading anxiety related bible verses really help me (bit.ly/3uBtb2j). I will be praying for you. Hugs and God Bless
