Hi there and welcome! Your saying is great as it is very helpful to stay in the moment. Something that I have found helpful in getting through my daily struggles with anxiety and depression is writing. You can keep a journal, take notes from what you read, write poems to express your feelings, etc. It’s a good way to release and gain perspective.
Also, listening to music, either upbeat or relaxing, depending what mood I find myself in, helps a lot!

Thank you. I was writing and keeping a journal but I found reading it again was difficult like I was reliving things. So, what I have done was I would just write and write with no care of how it sounded knowing I wasn't going to read it again, then I would flush it down the toilet lol. It was gone! If it was winter and we had the fireplace going I'd burn it.

I think it would feel so cleansing to write down all the negativity and burn it. 😀 That’s a good way to avoid reliving past drama.

That's soo cool. It's weird, the attacks come and you don't even know it's happening until you're going through it. It also helps that we all can openly chat about our situations and not get looked down upon or treated like an idiot.
That’s my way of getting through lately as well. One minute at a time. It helps to hear others share on this forum too.
That’s a great outlook too. Sounds like you’ve been around the block with these issues for some time now, and have found some things that work for you. That in and of itself is an accomplishment and a step forward!
