Maybe its my diet. But does anyone know if, having anxiety attacks prevent muscle growth and muscle toning of the body. It is not as bad as it used to be, but on some days I get short burst anxiety attacks which gives me an uncomfortable feeling through my upper body reaching up to my head.
I just wonder when the anxiety attack occurs, does my body negatively changes and my work outs become completely depleted?

However ... Anxiety can have physical effects on the body . It makes your muscles tense . It also gives you more aches an pains . It can slow down metabolism and you use more energy reserves . So therefore I would say it had an effect but not to the point of no positive impact . Physical exercise is very good for your health and wellbeing .
It improves your health your sleep . Your cognitive functions and does wonder to help reduce anxiety and gives you energy. So don't be discouraged . Progress can platu for many reason .
I can give you some advice to help with anxiety attacks if you like . But I not the diet side of things
My anxiety comes from a trigger. Its a thought in my personal life I have been struggling with. I think it is God's way of telling me something but I refuse to cave in. Its not an intrusive thought, it is just a personal belief I have.
As long as your healthy then I would not be concerned . No it's not fatal . It would be concerning if you was dealing with chronic stress all the time . But by what you have told me this is not the case .
