My heart aches for little Arthur Labino-Hughes,killed by his step mother and father & also his birth mother was not worthy to be a mother when she murdered her lover by stabbing him to death, the poor lad did not stand a chance.
The reports of the cruelty meted out to the lad is to harrowing to read in its entirety, the evil that exists is beyond comprehension.
And now an investigation by social services for its inept attitude when they knew all along that abuse was being done, and whats the point when the poor lad is dead.
No heads will roll, these useless social workers will keep their jobs, and within a short time we will learn of more atrocities of cruelty to children. So many who work in social care are not fit for purpose, and they are given anonymity, its time these people are named and shamed.
But nothing, but nothing, will help Arthur for the pain he went through and there can be no justice because he is gone.
Its easy words to say he is now in a better place in heaven, but do we even know or believe there is a heaven.?
I have my doubts.!

I live in Los Angeles California and unfortunately, these R very common incidents. They have started to occasionally prosecute some of the department of social work caseworkers when the caseworkers consistently visit the deceased childres’ Homes and do not remove the children from the residences when there R signs of constant abuse
Yes I agree. I cried when I read about the poor little child. If there is anything which could make me believe in the death penalty child abuse and murder is one of them.
I do think it's unfair to always blame social workers though. I am not defending them but they are chronically understaffed and are having to take on so many cases it is unsafe.
Also since 2010 government subsidies to councils from the government have been repeatedly and massively cut forcing them to keep raising council taxes in a vain attempt to cover the shortfalls.
I know for a fact that in 2010 Hackney councils money was cut forcing them to cut back on services, including child protection. I read a factual book written by a policeman who was in child protection in Hackney who had to be deployed back to general police duties when finances were cut.
He reported a number of child abuse cases he was involved in and they were horrendous. He was worried about this then - and that was 11 years ago.
I am not trying to be political and this is all fact. I have also known a couple of ex-social workers and this was around 20 years ago. They had both had breakdowns due to the stress and pressure on them and the unsafe and inadequate social care system.
Things have only got worse since so expect to read about poor abused children even more. It makes me furious so many poor children are left to suffer and die like this.
The lack of a properly funded and run social care system in this country is killing people right now, especially children.
I don't as it makes us as bad as the criminals. Also there has been far to many cases of innocent people being executed.
What I would like to see though is life meaning life, not 20 years. There has been far too many murderers let out, and while I am not saying they all return to murder, enough do to make the system very unsafe.
the first news report on it I turned it over and all night done the same when it came on and even skipped the pages in the newspapers.horrific just can`t understand these evil people.that little boy screaming no one loves me is truly heartbreaking.they said did no one learn from baby p and baby p is a reminder of my son to a certain extent just like this story.
