Last night i went to see the London, West End screening of 'Anything Goes' which is now shown at cinema's around the country, and it was fabulous, and what a talented and professional cast, notable amongst them was the amazing and extraordinary Sutton Foster ,she is sheer talent,, and if you get the chance to see it,it will lift your spirits no end,and you will not be disappointed,we pretty well tap danced all the way home.

But again i love theatre,it always takes me to another level and reduces my anxiety big time.

I tend to go out on my own or just meet one or two friends- the same ones all the time. I've started going out for coffee on a Tuesday again but we're all careful.

in reply to MadBunny

Yes we're careful.at swimming but a lady was getting closer and wouldn't stop talking I didn't get much swimming done that day I had to avoid her and her sister last time and had to laugh when we saw they had found 2 other ladies and were just stood in the pool talking lol

Hey, what about meeting friends online! Ive met 3 friends this way that im still friends with for YEARS m our kids even grew up together without meeting in person only via messaging, snail mail and things like that. I have found those friendships more fulfilling, respectful and more real than offline :) Food for thought :)

in reply to Misha77

I have some good friends that are just online mad bunny and secrets are 2 I'm.sure would have met in person if lived closer so I know what you mean it's always good to have social interaction even if not in person we became friends during and through the lockdowns and supported each other through our ups n downs🤗

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to Misha77

Yes I have done that😁

in reply to MadBunny

That's it take chances whilst they are there as you never know when they will be taken away from you.

I certainly have been these last few months.

in reply to MadBunny

Best thing to do!

in reply to MadBunny

I get like that myself can't be bothered to do something and then I make myself go and I'm glad I did as I really end up enjoying it!

Dylan will be envious of our home made carrot and parsnip soup for dinner tonight as we had a pub carvery out at lunchtime after my job interview.

They said they would ring later today but haven't so maybe they will let everyone know tomorrow.

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to

Hopefully you will hear tomorrow.I don't know about Dyl being envious- I am!

He made me laugh today. My friend, who I haven't seen since Feb last year, came round. Dyl cane downstairs, approached him very cautiously, ears forward, sniffed his feet, then proceeded to check out and sniff all his usual places in the living room to make sure they were ok, then went back onto the stairs again 🤣

in reply to MadBunny

I had been to that pub before we went to today many years ago for breakfast on the way to Caerphilly which I had enjoyed and there was lots of veg available which Dylan will be envious over!

We were going to have gone last Friday but decided to rearrange it for today.

Hi there. Glad you had a good time. Theatre is my big passion ( retired drama teacher 🙂) and one of the things I missed most during lockdowns. I went to the theatre in October and although I was very apprehensive, I'm glad I did. Being absorbed in the performance lifted my spirits so much.

secrets22 profile image
secrets22 in reply to MadBunny

Madbunny.....oh yes its my absolute passion to,i also love anything arty, and theatre is such an uplifting thing for taking so much anxiety away.

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to secrets22

Yes I do. I love live music too and have really missed that.I've usually got music on in the house most of the day. I went to the National Gallery in London a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. I'd promised myself I was going to go to some of the museums but with the new covid situation who knows🙄

Good, what colour are you doing , yes the cases are on the up again 👎

in reply to Arymretep

I have brick effect for one wall where 2 kitchen units will go and shelfes and it's a kind of taupe beige grey I had to take the last one back as changed colour was grey but looked blue in my house lol so I mixed a bit with another it was worst so I decided to take it back and try another shade I thought at this rate I'll end up with 5o shades of grey 😂on the wall somewhat shocking like the film 🙄

Paper
in reply to Arymretep

Paint

It's looks like a grey beige on one wall I tested looks nice
Arymretep profile image
Arymretep in reply to

I love that colour, gorgeous, we’ve got a taupe/grey colour , all through which is quite similar , it’s weird when you buy paint how it looks different when you take it home, I always get sample pots first to make sure, yes I think we will all hibernate for the Winter if we have another lockdown , fingers crossed it won’t come to that 🙏

in reply to Arymretep

Lol I ripped the lid off the sample pots in shop and put them.on the paper 3 actually 😂well that was my excitement for the day I don't buy them 1.99 is a flipping rip.off they should put the right Colours on the colour charts, I had taupe before many years ago in my kitchen well think it was called coffee and I loved it I had it in my front bedroom.i got same coloured wall paper with a otter in my bedroom in the back I think it's soothing and warm when the sun shines it's all glittery did I say the brick paper glitters too, I wish so much I was in one of the houses I tried to buy then I think.id be singing and dancing all around the house, I'll never settle here but I know I'll be here for a while it does feel better now with the knock through and now I have water downstairs I loved summer here as I love my garden so much as you know I cried a few times last week knowing if be going as there's things I'll miss and fear of the unknown and not knowing where I'll end up, I still can't sit downstairs on a night of feels scarry and lonely I go to mam's and I feel safe there I can't explain I hate the busy road up here and been so close to the park path and gates round back there always cutting through and jumping over and my nebours shed got broke into I laid there terrified didn't dare move I eventually put a light on and they cleared off, in my last house I walked in on a burglar he was climbing out the bedroom.window I had to leave that house as couldn't sleep after that, I was also burgled in a house I was in with a boyfriend they came in when we were in bed I guess I'm traumatised and also my PTSD of having the rats not bothered about that now but the house never felt like home after that I still jump out my skin when see something black on the floor thinking it's one of then flying black crunchy Beatles that also invaded the house back then as well as the flies oh heck I've rabbled so I'm ok in my cosy bed sheet watching emmerale now hope you sleep well 🤗🤗💛xx

in reply to Arymretep

I should be doing the finishing off jobs first before decor bit I'm.so board with DIY have the strips to put on worktop and unit backs my builder sawed the old front gate down today metal posts a car will fit in the gap between bus shelter now when I sell be better but I will be posting it if we're on lockdown again as I can't live with mam.again with her anxiety about me not been careful and pixie going out bringing COVId in I hope don't shut swimming baths down I may hybernate under my warm winter sheet lol it's that nice warm material that's warm.soon as you get in bed it was so nice waking up middle night cosy with my sheet😁how something as simple as that can make one content or is it just me been weird 😂xx

I remember taking my husband's elderly aunt to see it many years ago. The pair of us sat there crying our eyes out 😁 I'd love to see it again some time as I've only seen it once.

I really liked Hugh Jackman in it. And Eddie Redmayne. Talking of him, I'd love to see the new production of Cabaret with him playing the MC.

Arymretep in reply to MadBunny

Yes he’s got a great voice, I think he used to be in musicals before films , I think he was in Oklahoma many moons ago , Ooh, me too, I think he’s ideal for that part

Oh yes!

We have enjoyed some visits to the cinema recently in Cardiff.

The new theatre is really nice in how its laid out!

I feel extra strongly about how you should take chances to do things whilst they are there as tomorrow isn't guaranteed to anyone.
