Hi, could someone lend a hand? I’m feeling very paranoid. I took buspar 5 mg, seroquel 25 mg, and half an Ativan. Is it normal to feel paranoia or am I working myself up? I just started seroquel 25 mg for anxiety because I haven’t been sleeping. I have a very good doctor, but he’s expensive or I’d give him a call. I’m taking Sudafed and guiafensin for a head cold. Sorry to anyone having a bad night. I start a new job on Monday and I’m feeling very shaky. I took too much Ativan this month (not an overdose- just more than one per day). because I’ve been depressed. I feel like I’m crawling out of my skin and my heart rate in in the mid 60s, which is fine. I think I’m just paranoid because I have chronic sinusitis. Should I just go to sleep? I’ve been reading the same paragraph 5 minutes, but I’m not comprehending we’ll. Sorry to anyone feeling worse than I feel right now. Thank you!

Hi. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. I'm experiencing bad anxiety right now, for no reason. Maybe talking to you will help. Why do you feel paranoid?

Hi ElephantsHear You use the word paranoid several times. I'm wondering what youare fearing??

I am not a doctor but see that you are on a lot of medication. Some prescription and

now OTC for your sinusitis. Whenever taking prescribed meds, it is important to be

wary of any type of OTC meds you take at the same time. Sudafed has ingredients that

can cause more anxiety when mixed with meds. Same with Guiafensin unless you buy

the plain one.

The mixture of all this may be why you are feeling as if you are crawling out of your skin.

You say your doctor is expensive and that may keep you from calling him on this matter

however, call or see your pharmacist who would better be able to advise you on a safe

approach to your needs. I care :) xx

Thank you both for helping me/ giving me support! An ENT doctor told me I’m missing a small sinus bone that protects sinus inflammation from my brain due to years of sinus infections. My psychiatrist said not to put any stock into what the ENT said until it’s confirmed on a CT. I’ve had many sinus CTs. Normally, I don’t take any anti-anxiety medications except Ativan on occasion, but I start a new job Monday. Thank you!!

Hi dear, thank you for sharing. I better understand now where you paranoia comes from.Starting a new job Monday is feeding into your apprehensions.

I'd follow the advice of your ENT especially in that you have had many CT scans of the sinuses. I doubt if he would object to you taking Ativan since it was prescribed for your

anxiety. I know you want to feel your best by Monday. Try using the weekend on a low

key. Get your things ready ahead of time for Monday. Give yourself "me time" this

weekend. Maybe a hot bath might settle you down and relax you.

We're here to help you get through your first day and beyond. You are never alone

on this site. I hope you feel better. A new journey is about to begin come Monday.

Wishing you well :) xx

U R totally correct. I threw my 2 cents in about OTC Sudafed. I take Zyrtec for my allergies and sinuses but it’s nonnarcotic. U always give such good advice

Perhaps I need to check it out but I’ve never had any adverse reactions with it. I’ve been having migraines lately. Fortunately I can take the migraine meds with my other meds. Have a great Thanksgiving

You too Shnookie...I'm sorry that your migraines are keeping you under the pain threshold.

I so understand your pain. I suffered for years with daily headaches.

Muscular contraction headaches only interrupted by horrendous migraines.

I was always in pain. Terrible in how it can rob you of each day.

I hope there is a break in this cycle of pain soon.

You so deserve some peace and calm. :) xx

What kind of Sudafed R U taking ? Hopefully it’s the non narcotic type. The regular one can to an antsy feelings. I’m sorry 😐 that U R having chronic sinusitis. I’ve been having bad migraines lately and a good part of it is stress and lousy sinuses. I understand money issues, but I would definitely call your doctor ASAP. U want to feel calmer starting your new job on Monday. I know U say he’s expensive, but find out how much it will cost and if he charges U anything, see if U can break up the payments. Your health is a priority now. Your doctor might need to tweak your meds. You can personally message me Hugs 🤗Shnookie

Call a friend and have them take you to the hospital. It sounds like you over medicated yourself with too many different types of medications and may be experiencing an adverse reaction to it.
