Why bother?

This may be a bit strange, considering I have “spoken” to some of you, trying to help, but I really don’t care if I live anymore. It’s been this way since my “meltdown” in 1997. No, I won’t kill myself (Although I would lie if I said I never thought of it [& various methods to do it.] a lot! Does anyone else know? No one has ever cared enough to “see” it. My “Shink” is a very nice person who works for the VA, but not really delving into my psych . I’m just another Veteran to her. (I’m assuming she has her Masters in therapy or counseling or something! (I have PTSD but not from combat). So, why am I even writing? I don’t know but I am.

What do you mean by does " anyone else know"I have PTSD that is not from combat. A lot of us here do.

hey you,i did 2 tours a very long time ago in a forward attack air base with nuclear loaded fighter jets etc/i worked in total base security/a great experiance for a guy that wasnt even 18 yrs of age yet/I F-N THANK YOU FOR SERVING THIS COUNTRY /and I hope you have no major issues from your time in the military.....i too am trying to help or offer suggestions when a member asks a question/regardless of the subject///you are 70 i think???? why do you feel that you dont have a reason to really survive till jesus takes you home? are you suffering from any specific mental health issues?i know the V.A. is huge/i had bad experiences with the V A in my area......my doctor is here in my town and is a so so doctor....i bet you have family/maybe a family of your own with young kids that look up to and love you...you are on this earth for a reason.plz start or continue praying for guidance and help/try to be a more positive thinker/not negative shit/im here if you want to talk somehow...DS
