Change Rant

Why is change so difficult? Especially moving. Everything you have to do running through your head. Also doing it by yourself while SO is in another state. I'm just ready to relax. Ready to be done moving. Ready to chill the F out. Also the fact that this new place is where you have no friends or family. So you are all alone. I also need to get a new job in new location. Have to go back to a neighboring state on Monday to go back to my job that I also have to put two weeks notice in to when I get the new job and they have no idea (partially feel guilty). All will be done soon hopefully. So over it.

ChavivLeon & jackiesj,

Thank you for replying!

wondering WHY no help from SO?

He's working in Cali but I'm not moving any big stuff just reporting in, signing stuff, and setting up parking. He originally planned to be here but the drive is about 24hrs for him and he can't abandon his car and fly :P

the emotional part: the emotional part sucks because I was expecting to see him while I was here. I also got dressed up to surprise him but now he won't get in until Monday and I'll be working in another state and he wants me to drive back on Monday night to get him his keys and stuff. Then probably stay the night and drive to work again in the morning. Granted it is only a 3 hour drive but it's mildly annoying.

not to mention your job? 😭.

We were ready for a different state and a bigger city more opportunities. More choices as Jackiesj mentioned. My job I'm doing now is a very sexist environment and I'm really just losing interest in my work. To the point where I watch TV shows to distract my unwanting to do work and force it. Sounds weird but distraction=productivity vs no distraction=lost in thought and procrastination.

So new job, new environment, more money (Hopefully). Healthier work environment in the future hopefully as well.

So you already move to a new state without having a new job? wow that is so brave and risky. Hope you get one soon, financial stability is key. But also, why is your SO not helping, is it because they arent able to? This is a big move and one that the ones close to you should be helping if they can. Once you get settled in Im sure you will find friends. Also dont worry about your old job, focus on you and if they are good people they will not get mad that you are leaving. wish you luck🙏💜
