Anyone else having paranoia?

Against_the_current profile image

Hello. I'm really struggling. I'm having constant paranoia. I hope it is paranoia not real. I feel like someone has hacked my phone. And is watching my personal stuff.

Also i never feel safe.

Also scared of the Virus mutating and turning us into monsters.

Help 😭

Glonk,Are you having high anxiety? It can make you imagine things because you’re so worried.

What kind of personal stuff does it feel like they’re watching: social media posts or like hacking, or your real life non digital stuff?

I can understand feeling a lil paranoid about the phone because of all the data tracking that Facebook and other companies do. We joke about it sometimes because of how creepy the ads can get. But it’s not personal; they’re targeting everyone. Does it feel personal to you, like someone is watching Glonk J Glonk only?

So I don’t know if it helps to know it, but Facebook and Instagram etc all track the reels or videos that everyone watch. This is done by computer code, not by someone human watching your movements. It can feel creepy sometimes though. You can turn on privacy settings and make that happen less often.

If you worry about IRL humans watching you, I would try to tell a very good friend and I would talk to my doctor.

You might want to talk to a doctor about the paranoia. Maybe a medication needs adjusting?

Or, if you have smoked marijuana or used another nonprescription drug, that almost certainly is the cause.

But you’ve said you have some PTSD, which could make you feel unsafe. Does this paranoia feel different from that, or new?

The virus is turning some of us into rude-monsters, but I don’t think it’s a permanent mutation LOL. 🤮

I don't do drugs and never have

If it helps you're not the only one that feels this way. I wish I could say more but I hope that provides comfort Please talk to your mental health professional if you can. I feel like getting someone's perspective on it who is a better understanding of paranoia can make me feel more at ease knowing it is just that.
