It’s interesting how a lot of mental disease is so focused on the bad in the past, and the bad what if’s in the future. If somehow, we can just train our minds to focus on the good in our past and the good we have presently, we can lead much more positive productive lives. I feel that everything that’s going on in the world, the pandemic, economic worries, and so on, it’s almost like the media and social media is so focused on the bad in the world. I myself have limited my tv and social media time to the most minimum each day. If one looks at the world from a different point of view, or mindset that in itself can help one feel a bit more positive about ones life. I hope this little bit helps. Thank you. SAMSON

Focusing on the good.
This helps "a lot" Samson. We must see beyond what the news media broadcasts. Thanks for your positive post. xx
I am reading a book called The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. Very motivating and inspiring. It covers silence, affirmations, visualisation, exercise, reading, and writing, what he calls The S,A.V.E.R.S. He explains how you can cover these savers in total 60 minutes per day to transform your life. If you like books like this, or need some inspiration or direction change, look it up. Great book in my opinion.
I’m gonna definitely check out that book, thank you very much.
Hi. One of the best books I have read. Let me know what you think and whether it is your cup of tea or not👍Take care
Yes I actively turn off the news now as it’s too negative and they only seem to report the bad things, no wonder there is so much mental illness since the pandemic
The secret is learning to live in the present. The past is gone and no one knows what the future holds.
I, too, have not been watching the news. I used to like following world and domestic issues, but it’s too focused on the negative issues. Yes we need to know these things but balance it with some good news. It’s there if you know where to look. It would give us a little lift to see some happiness amongst this time of uncertainty.
Its something to strive for anyway.
