As for myself, I’m still recovering from my panic attack last week. It triggered a very bad headache. I feel better after taking Tylenol. And I get lightheaded from being in bed too much. But I started to do some in-place exercises just to get me off the bed. Slowly but surely getting better.
Taking it easy.
As far as my mental health, It will be an interesting/challenging fall & winter here in California. Since my anxiety started around December it gives me some sort of flashbacks. Also it will be a year this January of being a member of this forum. Which is the same time I was diagnosed with GAD.
I feel like it will be different now since I have the knowledge and tools to cope with my anxiety.
So in other news me and my wife decided to adopt a kitty. He’s name is Beethoven 🐱
So now we have 3 animals in the house. 4 if you include me. Lol
Here is a picture of them all together.
That’s it for now and I hope you guys have a great week.

People around meHi it’s Shnookie. Happy 😃 that U R recovering from your panic attack and that U have obtained better coping skills. Love your dog and cats. It must be comforting to have them around. I’m hanging in here have issues with my new job and feel that I need to start looking for new employment opportunities. However, I’m lucky that that I found this website and have supportive nonjudgmental people around me. Sending U good karma. I’m here 4 U. Hugs 🤗 S
Thank U for your kind words. Selfcare is very important. The problem at this job right now is that I am not receiving enough hours. I hope that when I finish paid training my hours will increase. This week I’m also going to start looking 4 a new job as a back up plan.
Thank you for the pointers. Even though I already knew the majority of them, I will never ignore your advice.
Cold showers and Magnesium is what has been working for me.
I feel like magnesium was keeping my anxiety at bay and I stopped taking it for no reason to be honest. Now I’m taking it again.
As far as my headache I’m 95% sure it was a migraine this whole time. I’ve suffered from headaches since I was in my teens, it runs in the family. So I’m pretty accurate on what type of headache I have but they can be tricky sometimes.
Ibuprofen does work best for tension and migraine but it will destroy my stomach specially cause of my ulcerative colitis.
So I have to stick with Acetaminophen.
Always good to hear from you. And I’m glad you like the picture of my furry animals lol
