After months of waiting, I finally got confirmation of moving to a new flat on 18th November. I have my parents old house to clear as well as my stuff. Really struggling to keep it together, so much to do, when I wake up it's all I think about. Got to back to the office tomorrow as well. Really, really finding it hard. Things keep coming up, basically doing it all on my own. Just want to curl up and sleep for ever and never wake up.

Accept it as a challenge, a new start, new neighbours, a new routine. Itemise your flat, put your own personality into it! Do you live on your own, you have the potential, for a new beginning, I'm very jealous of you! I have been stuck in my house for 18 years, I prefer my own company, but after the last 18 months, I have been stuck, in reality in semi isolation, aged 65, severely disabled all my life, I live on my own, but just heard I am getting a pension, I want to spread my wings now, although essentially terminally ill, I have no transport! I am a stubborn old nerd, my motto "Adapt through Adversity" has served me well, that pandemic could serve as a good kick up the rear, ironically also have claustrophobia, I need to break free, it could be my best portion of my life?🤞
Hi Big Neil.
Have you thought of just getting the precious memories from your parent's home and then getting a clearance firm to clear it?
It's what I had to do when I moved, or I wouldn't have gotten out before the first lockdown.
It got me out and I wouldn't have had room in my bungalow for everything.
Cheers, Midori
