Don thats very sad news that your leaving . We ll all miss you of course you ve been a great friend to all the members a great mentor & advisor in everything particularly events that have taken place as a result of lockdown (ie rationing in shopping) a concept you know doubt will have gone through & witnessed & knew what to do to make food last & given some great advice on it -particularly to me Pardon me for enquiring but why ? If you dont wish to say thats fine I was just wondering

I don’t know, looking at ways to stay on HU, maybe via website….don’t want to leave…looking for a shortcut icon to get into HU.
Try just typing into Google "Health Unlocked" and see what comes up?

I got I pad too and I can log into hu through safari browser …..and the app …never got on with the app anyway so won’t miss it ….I’m sure someone more techie will be able to explain how to help I’m sure you don’t have to leave .
Despair is what I am feeling about your leaving. I don’t understand why HU has shut you out. I feel that I’m missing something. I don’t see the reason for such a drastic action. Your kind influence will be missed. Someone on HU verbally abused me, yet their comments weren’t even deleted. I just don’t know……😔
They are doing away with the app it’s a pain in the buttock region apparently….I’m not sure what I’m on now but I got 2 ways of accessing h.u. But don’t know what you call the non app version

You can always access the website through Google, Chrome, Safari etc . I do that all the time.
Hey Don,I am THE worst when it comes to technology. But all I know is, I just have to type the "H" for Healthunlocked on my Chrome browser on my phone, and it gets me right into the site. I am not asked for a password or anything.
Don, I found HU on an Doninternet search for support groups. My browser has the url as healthunlocked.com. I think you can just search it and then log in again. If you've forgotten any log in information they can reset it via email. I don't have an app. I use my phone most of the time and that goes via the phone browser.
I logged in thru the site itself. I didn't even know there was an app 😅

I have never used the app, only ever used my browser on both my pc and kindle fire
Not surprised they are closing it. I use it for notifications only. Trust me the website is better. I’m on an iPad right now. iOS 15 was just the final nail.
I tried navigating around the website on my iPad, no joy….. perhaps I got used to the app.
Maybe. I stopped using both apps a while ago because I had no more patience for them, especially iPhone. I keep them installed for notifications only. A mobile app developer is very expensive. I imagine that is the issue.I hear you though. When I compare a new service I am considering it often comes down to the app. No app is a dealbreaker a lot of the time. That said I don't have Facebook installed. Their mobile website is terrible and I am certain that is intentional. But I feel the tradeoff is too high.
