I am leaving...

I am leaving this site, though in the past it has proved a help, and I enjoyed corresponding with others. HOWEVER - I am afraid I cannot trust this site, or more accurately it's administrators, when it removes - seemingly innocuous - posts and won't explain why. I have been in touch with five monitors and none of them can tell me why a recent post was removed - it was a good discussion about the usual topics and was removed. People come here for free (and respectful, of course) exchange, and it seems HU has now become like many other sites - and I wonder if they are using our data for other purposes. If only I could get an answer...I tried, and failed.

If something disappears completely I believe it means HU has removed the member. We have many trolls here. They come in with great stories but it's fraud. All the time we spend trying to help someone that is telling a lie for attention is very sad.

I've noticed problems with chats ( personal messages, not replies on posts) recently and so has a friend . We've been sending them but they haven't been arriving, or if they have they show up hours later. I think it might be a blip in the system. It's not the first time it's happened.
