Hello! I’ve been diagnosed with generalized anxiety and depression some years ago. I was once prescribed Zoloft and Prozac, but I didn’t like the way it made me feel. I’ve been taking 20mg of Lexapro for about a year. It has helped with my anxiety a little, but I’m still struggling with depression. I was thinking of asking my doctor to increase my dosage, however I would like to explore some natural options if anyone has any tips. Thank you in advance

Lexapro did nothing for my depression. Tried for 4 months. Prior 20 plus yrs on 20mg paxil which is doing nothing now.On 10mg of celexa for three days so far.
Hoping this will help. I have tried others as well.
Thank you for your response 🙂. Yeah, Lexapro helps a little with my anxiety symptoms but does little for depression. I’m going to try exploring a few natural alternatives. Either way, it’s definitely a battle. I’m so glad I found this support group.
Hi,I am glad Lexapro is helping you to some extent. I recommend making sure you are sleeping well and also adding exercise to your week. Even taking a 20 minute walk every day is very helpful.
I hope you feel all better soon.
