I live in Montana the mountains no social life just my daughter-in-law and my son but he is gone a lot so its me and my daughter in law, she is so busy taking care of her animals I feel left out I am 83 years old and can’t keep up with her; help I want to go back to Illinois by my two sister and daughter, I cannot take it here any longer!,,

What is stopping you from going back? Is it a financial issue, or are you not sure if they would want you to live with them or near them?

It takes time, I have to fly back,at 83, and never flew, now that is scarey

Yes, If you have never flown it could be scary. It could also be exciting. Seeing the land from high up is very beautiful and a unique experience. You could also consider taking a train, if the thought of flying is to upsetting. 😋

My daughter in law will fly with me I am the last one to find out things.we will fly to Peoria her family lives there

I hope you get back to Illinois. It may take time and some planning but it sounds like you will be happier there. Being isolated is hard.

Have you started the discussion with your son or daughter about your feelings to trouble shoot- how to make it better there or how reality would be if they could help you move? Don't do it alone but conversation with them is a good place to start 🙂
