Has anyone been on seroquel?

I've just been prescribed seroquel

To add to my cocktail. Anyone who's been on it, did you have good or bad experiences?

I take 50 mg of seroquel at night. It helps me to sleep, but doesn't have much of an effect on my anxiety during the day. What has been your experience?

Not on it yet. Its being used for antidepressant 150 mg. For first 3 days I'm supposed to be a zombie due to sedation. We'll see. Not looking forward to another med to try. Side effects, 4 to 6 weeks to "see if it works." That will be Halloween. Then if it doesn't work? At least 12 times I've been through this. I am crying even more thinking about my wasted life like this.

Have you tried a psychopharmacological test to see what meds work best for you based on your dna? It does help take a lot of the guess work out of the process. Mine was from Genesight and their are other brands available.
