Hi this is my first time posting. I have been dealing with anxiety/panic attacks for over 20 years now. I take medication 3x a day.
The past few months have been an up hill battle. Last week we found out my husband’s brother passed away. There are many other things going on right now. I can’t go back home with him and I’m not doing good knowing I’m going to be alone. Most of my friends are 7 hours away. I pray every day for the lord to heal me and I without doubt believe he is. I’m just having a really hard time right now. I have tried to find therapist however there seems to be an issue every time. We’re not taking new patients. Or we don’t see patients from your area. My panic stems from medical things and I can’t drive. Any words of wisdom or uplifting thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much. I’m trying to work on that stuff. A lot of the time I do great.
Right now is just one of those dark up hill battles.
It does help knowing people have or are going through some of the same stuff and understand.
It is a tough time to find a therapist. Maybe it's because of the pandemic. Just be the "squeaky wheel" and keep trying. We will support you in your efforts.
20 years for me as well. I have had the same symptoms on and off, not wanting to be alone and did not drive for some time, among many others. I pray everyday as well as I also suffer from anxiety/depression. You will find a therapist just keep trying. There may also be some group therapy that is offered via telehealth if you are open to that. I also hurt my back very badly over 5 weeks ago which triggered another anxiety cycle so I completely understand the medical issues and how they can affect you. All I can say is try to be kind to yourself and take each day one hour at a time if needed.
I am so thankful that you posted exactly how you are feeling. I know you must feel very sad and I will pray for you right now. You are worthy of love and support, and if you can't find a therapist that can see you, consider talking with a pastor that you trust. Hugs to you.
Thank you, prayer definitely helps. A pastor is a great idea.I had an appointment with my doc today and she raised the dose of my meds by .5 mg I hope that helps along with finding a therapist or pastor.
