Feel impatient and hopeless

My brain is a lot better recentky but not totally ok yet. I feel so impatient and hopeless by wondering if I'll be ok again.

I've suffered 3 years since I came off antidepressant. It was a true hell.....

I'm alone with my cat. I feel so alone.

Hello friend. It's ok to feel the way you do. The good news is that things will get better. Your cat is your friend. She will help you get through difficult times in her own ways; that's the beauty of animals.

Thank you for responding. Truly appreciated it. Yes my brain is better. But I'm still not doing ok. It's so hard to live like this.

Hello! Love the picture of your sweet kitty.

Healing is something we need to work in daily. It is not a linear line, sadly. It would be so much easier of it were. I started 2 minute mornings by Neil Pasricha recently and have found it very helpful. You spend about 2 minutes answering 3 questions:

1. I will let go of

2. I am grateful for

3. I will focus on

Thank you for reaching out to give me advice. Yes my brain is doing better but it's still not ok yet. I agree with you...recovery isn't a linear process.

I think you should keep looking for the right antidepressant and/or combination of drugs. I agree that you should be careful with the Benzos, but the SSRIs can help in my opinion.

Hello thank u for reaching out.

I reinstated another antidepressant that doesn't affect my health a yearago. I think its been working. But brain recovery takes time....I'm so scared.
