The beauty of silence

How do you feel about silence? I love it. Can’t get enough of it. Silence calms my brain. Problem is that I love silence so much, people talking to me just annoys me. It’s just an interruption to my peace. Are you attracted to silence?

Hi Iammesues, oh my gosh yes. I love silence. Now that I live with my parents again it’s hard to come by, so I treasure it even more. On my 20 minute commute to work, I leave the radio off (the radio here is not that good anyway) & on my days off, I take a long walk by myself. Part of what I enjoy about both these activities is the beautiful silence.😍

Where do you like to walk?

I live in a small town surrounded by fields & further out by mountains, so I like to walk on the outer streets for the views, through the town park, & up a hill to the town cemetery. I have the feeling of being out in solitude with nature while still being close enough to home to feel safe. Thanks for asking.🙂

Occasionally I see other people these days, but not many. The conditions aren’t the safest for walking. There aren’t many sidewalks, the roads are narrow & the vehicles are wide. Not a lot of drivers are expecting to see someone out walking for pleasure.

My commute is actually 45 minutes. It just seems to go by faster because I enjoy it that much.😀

Sometimes I drive to this skate park near my house, turn off my phone so I can’t be tracked, and I watch the teenagers skate while sitting in silence in my car. They are fearless and have their whole lives ahead. Crazy thing is, hours can pass and I am so caught up in the silence I don’t notice the time

silence is great hearing the noises of nature and everything around you few days ago I went hillwalking and sat down and 3 birds flying above me and I could actually hear the noise coming from the birds wings in flight and it sounded amazing.
